Who They Are
IDFour was a company specializing in interactive CDROM marketing applications that could be found attached to the covers of high profile magazines like PC Magazine. This was a great way for companies to get their product and or infromation out to the general public.
What We Did
IDFour was preparing to release another interactive marketing CDROM to be circulated on the cover of PC Magazine as they had done in the past quite successfully. For this rendition of the CDROM IDFour had come up with a new marketing idea called the 'Discovery CDROM - Rediscover Your Computer'. IDFour wasn't exactly sure what type of interactive design would best fit this newest project and approached us to take on the project. With companies like America Online and Corel Draw already agreeing to be part of the project the design and functionality were paramount. Using everything in our design arsenal from Macromedia Flash to 3D Studio MAX we came up with science fiction based theme, complete with flying ships, space backdrops and voice over narrative that we scripted and recorded in house. After seeing the initial beta release, IDFour was very excited as we had surpassed all of their initial hopes. Armed with a working demo, IDFour began showing prospective companies and began signing up compaines who wanted to be included on the CDROM at a very fast rate.
What Happened
Sadly during the final phases of production the world was rocked by the events of September 11th, 2001 and IDFour like so many others, was not immune to it's effects and was forced to put the project on hold indefinitely.
